Couch to 5K

So, since the doctor said that I can do whatever I want unless it hurts, I decided to get on the treadmill. I haven't done much high impact for a while now, so I definitely need to amp up the cardio! I want to run my first 5K this spring, so it's time to start moving! I have read the Couch to 5K program and thought it would be a great place to start. Yesterday, I did workout 1 which consisted of: "brisk 5 minute warmup walk. Then, alternate 60 seconds of jogging and 90 seconds of walking for a total of 20 minutes". I haven't ever done anything on a treadmill other than walk, so I wasn't sure what levels to use.I did level 3 for the walking part and level 5 for the jogging. I did the 20 minutes. My heartrate range was between 120-160.

Now, I'm heading over for my workout with Aaron.

Update: KICK BUTT workout with Aaron. I asked about the levels-he said they were great. YAY!
