Sick, Sick, Sick

I thought I was going to make it through the winter without getting sick. I almost made it. Almost being the key word here! Wednesday afternoon, I went home early. I slept all evening and through the night. Got up Thursday morning, called in sick and went back to bed. Slept all day, and again all night. A big thank you to my husband for taking the girls to daycare and taking care of them after so I could rest. This morning I still didn't feel good so I called in sick again. I had my bone scan today, so ended up going out. I had the injection at noon, then had 3 hours to wait for the scan so went to Target.

I picked up a few Valentine's Day goodies and a new nail polish from the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure line. I got "Shall We Dance". I thought it was a fitting color for Valentine's Day!

I also saw another color I think I'll get next time. It's called "Grass Slipper"-a very pretty grassy green color-I think it would be adorable for a spring time pedicure! They had lots of nice colors so if I like the one I got I'll try more!

I picked up the stuff I needed to make cookie dough truffles for the kids! Mmmm. They will be awesome with champagne on Valentine's Day! I'll post the recipe (totally unhealthy-chocolate, butter, and more chocolate!) when they're done.

OH...very important! So, when I had the bone scan, I was laying on the table and the technician asked me "you're 38?!". I said yes. She said "I thought you were no more than 28"! WOO HOO! That definitely made me feel better :)
