It's Just a Body...

On Saturday night, we went out for dinner & drinks with Becky and her husband, Troy. Becky was my first trainer in the ME First program (until she decided to leave me take a new position at the wellness center). I should also mention now that Aaron & Christine, and Russ and his girlfriend were supposed to join us but wimped out were unable to.
Anand & I:

met Becky & Troy:
at Margarita's (I bet you could have guessed that one!). We talked about raising daughters and other fun stuff (ha ha Becky & Troy-you know what I mean) We also each had 2 margaritas. Here is Becky checking her voicemail...
Holly joined us later in the evening. Her husband's band was playing at a bar in downtown Hallowell, so we were planning on going down to see him play.

Here are the three stooges Musketeers:
So...when Holly joined us, Becky & I decided that we needed to have another margarita. That would be THREE margaritas. Nicole +3 drinks=oh boy. We had a ton of fun talking about everything you can think of...and somehow we got on the subject of raising girls, teenage years, modesty, etc. and Becky said her motto with her girls has always been "it's just a body". Well, it stuck (hence the title of this post). Every time someone would say something, one of us would say "it's just a body". Then we would all start laughing hysterically.
Here is Holly showing us her favorite trick! She was darn good at it too! Becky rocked it too:

Hey Girls:
And here is Mel, the new receptionist!
Then we were off to see Holly's husband, Derek, rock out on the drums!
Here is a picture I took of Derek playing (it's really dark though so you can't really see him)...
And here are Becky & Holly gettin' their groove on...OOPS-don't have a clue who that is, but Becky is in the background.
And this is when things go weird.. I'm standing there and it happens...the alcohol hits me in the face. The room starts spinning and I think I'm going to pass out at any minute. I ask Anand if he's ready to go, he says yes and I go to say bye to Becky & Holly and the room goes black-I'm turning around looking for Anand and I can't see him (or quite frankly, anything at that point). I finally see him and somehow manage to get out the door. When the fresh air hit my face, I felt much better. So, we never did get to meet Derek. Anand loved the band and wants to hear them play again. Next time-my limit is 2 margaritas. But, then again, who knows. Afterall, it's just a body!
