Labor Day Weekend!

Four days of pure relaxation...nothing like it! Friday was a shutdown day, so Anand & I dropped the girls off at daycare so we could have a day together. We started out with breakfast at a "famous" Maine landmark Well, famous enough to have been on Food Network anyway!

I ordered an omelet-it was good. The "ambience"-not so much. I'll spare you the details. But, I digress.

Next up, we went to Home Depot to get more information about our upcoming flooring installation! YAY! One step closer. Then, for old time's sake, we drove to Belgrade (our old stomping grounds!) and walked down by the lake and sat for a while. Very relaxing! Then, on the spur of the moment decided to go see a movie! We saw this:

It was pretty good! Then, it was time to pick up the kiddos.

That evening, we were looking for something to watch when I saw that this movie was on:

I had never seen it so we decided to watch it. Odd. And that was with a bottle of wine.
On Saturday, I was up for a marathon movie day! We haven't done that in forever, so I decided to just watch a bunch of Indian movies and basically do nothing :)
We watched THREE movies-if you haven't seen an Indian movie, you definitely should! They are LONG, but SO good.
These are the 3 we watched:

Loved them all (again!).

Anand cooked us some good Indian food for lunch & dinner. That was it! Pure Relaxation!

Then, we decided to watch a movie that was on TV-I had never seen it, but thought it would be good.

HEART WRENCHING. I couldn't watch part of it. Too sad.

On Sunday, what do you think we did? We decided to take the girls to a movie of course! They I have been wanting to see this movie:

In 3D. LOVED it! My favorite scene (and worth watching the movie for) was Ken's fashion show in "Ken's Dreamhouse". I LOVE Barbie and this scene totally made the movie for me.

Here is Suri eating her popcorn:

And Maya with her grumpy face:

And eating her candy:

GOOBER!

We all loved the movie. Especially me :)

Yesterday, we picked up our CSA share:

And Maya helped pick herbs. We went grocery shopping and went home to prep for the week.

All in all it was a very relaxing weekend!
