Our 5th Wedding Anniversary! (and Orlando Day One)

Yesterday was our 5 year Wedding Anniversary! It seems like yesterday, yet a lifetime ago (in a good way) that we were celebrating our wedding day with family & friends:

We flew to Orlando on our anniversary so I could attend the AHIMA House of Delegates. I have a 1.5 hour meeting this evening and will be there all day tomorrow. We are staying in Orlando until Thursday, so we have lots of fun stuff planned!

We flew out of Portland at noon and arrived in Orlando at 5:30 after a stop in Washington, DC.

We thought about renting a car, but weren't really sure if we would need one or not. Well, after paying $50 to get to the hotel and basically having everything kind of spread out, we decided that we needed one. So, as I type this Anand is on the shuttle back to the airport to pick up our wheels for the week.

Anniversary Adventures!
Once we were settled into our room at the Residence Inn by Marriott Orlando Seaworld, we got ready to go out to dinner to celebrate! We found a Cuban restaurant that sounded awesome, went to the lobby to find out about the trolley. Well, the trolley isn't really predictable apparently, it stops service at 10:30, it was raining, and already almost 9:00. So, we decided that we would order takeout and relax and make plans for the rest of the week once we had a car. So, we ordered Thai takeout and ate in our room. We're pretty romantic, huh?! Ha ha! You just wait, though...I promise you fun times will be had starting today! So, stay tuned....
