For Day 11, I gave myself the gift of Christmas decorating with my daughters. They are about to turn 5 and are SO excited for Christmas! On Friday, Darcy took them to her aunt & uncle's tree farm to pick out a tree for the daycare. On they way back to daycare, Darcy called me and said Maya had to ask me a question. She put me on speakerphone and Maya proceeded to ask me "Mama-can I keep my tree?". They were walking on the tree farm and Maya spotted this little tree, about the size of her, and she wanted it. Darcy told her they needed to find a bigger tree, but she wouldn't let go of it. She was hugging it, and as Darcy put it "was very sad about not keeping the tree". So, Darcy's uncle told Maya she could take the tree home. She was so excited about her little tree. I propped it in a vase and we went outside to find rocks for around it to keep it in place. Here is Maya with her tree at the tree farm:
I love that picture!

We had a lot of fun decorating for Christmas!
