Finally...ANSWERS!

Well, after: three sinus infections in one month, three rounds of antibiotics, constant sinus pressure on the left side of my head, face, & neck, my eye constantly dripping and always looking like I'm crying (of course vanity is a huge issue, but the blurred vision and dripping down my face really sucks)-I finally have some answers. I had a CT scan of my sinuses on Friday and my doctor called this morning with the results:

-thickening of maxillary sinuses bilaterally
-cyst and polyp on the right side

Ok, it's strange that the cyst & polyp are on the right side and I'm having symptoms on the left, but who knows?

My doctor is scheduling me with my ENT ASAP. Yes, I said "my" ENT. I had sinus surgery 3 or 4 years ago due to pretty much the same issues minus the eye, polyp, and cyst things. So, sinus issues are a chronic problem for me. PLEASE let there be relief soon. I have not been to the gym in over 2 weeks again because I am so exhausted all the time and the eye dripping thing is a real pain when trying to work out. PLEASE let there be relief soon...



UPDATE: Well, so much for answers. I went to the ENT and he said it is NOT my sinuses. He says my sinuses are clear and the polyps & cysts that were on the CT scan are small and would not be causing symptoms. Furthermore, he said they are on the right side and my symptoms are on the left. He thinks there is something nerve-related going on. So, his recommendation is to see a Neurologist.

I am so discouraged & frustrated....
