Today is my BIRTHDAY!!!
Birthdays are the BEST! It's a snowy day here in Maine, so I got to wear a few of my birthday gifts to ME! My awesome husband gave me some shopping money-the man knows the way to my heart. Love him!

I couldn't resist myself from the 40% off coupon for this Jessica Simpson "Andrea" (now sold out) satchel (LOVE python print!):
And, of course I needed new shoes to go with it! I have a pair of python print sandals, but I can't wear sandals in the winter, so DSW to the rescue (and I got a birthday discount from them!):
On Friday, my staff at work had a little party for me :)

I had this set and wore it quite a bit. Then, it got left behind in India. She ordered me a new one!
Birthday aside, I will tell you that the most marvelous thing about today is the fact that my kids are safe. After Friday's horrific events in Connecticut, I am so very thankful. I am scared, but am also trying to not live in fear and to be thankful for every moment we have together. This picture was taken when I picked them up at school for their Nutcracker dress rehearsal on Friday afternoon:
