Infusion #15-will it ever end?

I hate to complain because it is definitely nice being able to go six weeks between infusions, but MAN...when will it end?!

I had my infusion on Friday. We took the girls with us for eye exams, and they did great! Both have "PERFECT" eyes, according to Dr. Foster! He also said my eyes are looking great! He does, however, want to continue the protocol we're on. In his words "let's not rock the boat". So I will be going back for round 16 on August 8.

As far as infusion day itself, all went well. I was tired when we left, but no worse than usual. We got home around 7:00 pm, and I went to bed. I slept until 10:30 am Saturday morning. FIFTEEN hours of sleep? I got up and had a cup of coffee and breakfast and went back to bed. I napped off & on all day in between reading. I read FOUR books from Friday to Sunday (more on that later). Usually, I wake up on Sunday and feel much better. This week, I felt worse on Sunday. Anand said I felt feverish, but I didn't think a whole lot about it until later. I took my temp and discovered it was 100.3. Not real high, but for a person on chemo, not good. I called the on-call doc, who said if I started with any more symptoms to call my primary doc to be treated for infection. I napped again all day, then slept another FIFTEEN hours last night. I woke up this morning with no fever (thankfully!) and feeling a bit better. I'm happy to report that as of writing this, I am feeling much better and have not taken a single nap all day! We even did some grocery shopping.

Oh, and the Bachelorette and Mistresses are on tonight, so no fifteen hours of sleep tonight!
