Whole30-Day 9 & 9th Wedding Anniversary!

Day 9 also happened to be our 9th Wedding Anniversary!

We got the girls off to school. Suri's & my shadow played for a bit while waiting for the bus:

I had black coffee, eggs, and green pepper for breakfast. Then, Anand & I took a drive to a coastal town and had lunch. It was my first meal out since starting Whole30, so I was a bit nervous. I was a bit worried that I would be tempted by all the menu offerings, but I stuck to my plan! Grilled chicken, hard boiled egg, romaine, red cabbage, tomato, cilantro, croutons (which I pushed to the side. Not a big crouton fan anyway, thankfully). The dressing most likely had some sugar in it, but I'm not going to worry about that-I'm proud that I stuck to a salad with protein!

Here are a couple of pics of the foliage:

We got home and looked through our wedding things and watched our wedding videos with the girls.

I had an apple & cashews for a snack, then had ground turkey with eggs scrambled in for dinner.

I also got a little message from My Fitness Pal that said I have been logging meals for 10 days. Onto e double digits!
