Biopsy

I went to the oral surgeon yesterday and he recommended an excisional biopsy of the mass on my tongue. So, today at 1:30 I am having it removed. He said he could do it with me either awake or asleep. I asked him what would be involved. He said needles to numb the tongue. No thanks! So, I'm going to sleep. He said it will most likely just feel like I burned my tongue on hot pizza. Sometimes they need to do stitches, but not always. So, I'm starving right now since I couldn't eat after midnight. Looks like I'll be using all 23 points in one meal tonight :) I'm thinking Thai.
