I had my training session with Aaron this morning. Currently, I feel like a bowl of jello. Seriously! But, the good news is that I also feel great...GREAT JELLO! This was definitely a great workout and if I keep up with this-which I definitely will!-I should be pretty BUFF in a month's time :) I have learned one thing about myself during this process...I need someone standing over me pushing me or I need someone leading a class. I just don't push myself if it's just me on my own. Aaron says it's because I'm Type A-ha ha! Hey-whatever works!
In other exciting news, this morning I got an email from a ME First Project Manager. This is what it said:
"Hi Nicole,
Becky told me about your blog and that it was very inspiring. Would you be willing to give me the link, to let me feature some highlights in an article in the newsletter, and share the link with other ME FIRST participants?
Thank you"
Although my first instinct was to kill Becky (just kidding Becky-hee hee!), I was so excited! I doubt many people will really want to read my boring and sometimes silly little blog, but how awesome to think that I could inspire someone?! I am honored that they would even ask! Now I need everyone to make comments on what I can include to make it better. Any suggestions/recommendations/comments?
Dear Fat and Frumpy,
ReplyDeleteI am going to try this again. You are truly an inspiration to me. If I fail you never judge - you just tell me to try again. When I first started Doomba I never thought I would make it through 45 minutes of torture, but with your encouragement I can do 45 minutes. After eating lunch at Mickey D's for the past two days (granted not as much as I use to) it's still not good for me you only said "I have a craving for fries today". You have taught me how to exercise, you have encouraged me throughout all this and I look forward to going to the gym every day. By the way - are we doing Chinese this week? Ha! Ha! The healthy stuff of course - oh, wait, there is no healthy in Chinese. :) Thank you for your support!
