The fourth Sunday of March is always "Maine Maple Sunday". Local farms show you how they make maple syrup, you can sample lots of maple goodies, and you can see all the different products that are made with maple syrup (aka: the nectar of the Gods..ha ha!).
This is where we went today:
It was FREEZING!
Here we are walking towards the farm:
Like my new hat?!
Here we are getting maple taffy with snow!
And here is Maya holding her maple cotton candy (she is showing us that she ate the taffy):
We fed the chickens (well, I fed them-the girls were scared of getting bit), saw a horse and a duck.
Then, we were all frozen so decided to go home!
