To Die For Protein Muffins!


There is an awesome blog that I follow-"Healthy Hott Housewife". She had posted a recipe that I was dying to try. You can see it here. It's for "protein muffins". It's basically a scoop of protein powder, 1 T natural applesauce, an egg white, baking powder, stevia, and cinnamon. You pop it into the microwave for 1 minute and 45 seconds. That's it. It's AMAZING! I topped it with a dab of almond butter & all-fruit preserves. Unbelievable. Anand & the girls also loved them. In fact, Anand said: "you could sell these things"! They were that good. And packed full of protein.

You HAVE to try this one!

  1. Does the protein powder have dairy stuff in it? That sounds like an awesome breakfast for me...but a lot of protein stuff like that has whey or other milk stuff in it...

  2. Yes, Emma-I use whey protein. BUT...they do have soy protein so you could use that!
