Girls' Night Out!

A group of ladies at work had been saying we should do a "Girl's Night Out" for sometime now. We finally did it! We decided to go to Cancun , one of my favorites! Here we are (I should add that I am at the head of the table because they all told me I was the Queen! Love them!:

 We started off with margaritas (duh!) and then the shenanigans started! Fact: you put a group of women together and drink margaritas, beware! (especially when you have Monika translating!)
First, Robyn (Freda's daughter) & Rachel showed up. I think we may have embarrassed them:

We scared the girls off, then we made a pact: "What happens at Cancun, stays at Cancun".

After a few sips of my margarita, I declared we should be adventurous! DESSERT FIRST! Well, I ordered "choco chimis" for the table to share. Then, the next thing we know we also have sopapillas (Freda asked about them and they apparently thought she wanted them), then fried ice cream (I think Robyn may have actually ordered that one!). So, we had 3 desserts between 8 of us. I had a spoonful of each. My favorite was the sopapillas...WOW!

Then, we enjoyed our margaritas and started harassing the poor wait staff:

We all ordered (I had the Cocktail Pulpo de Camarones-octopus & shrimp cocktail-YUM!).

It was SO good that I'm recreating it at home tomorrow!
We continued the fun times (and learned a lot of spanish!):

THEN...
This man who was sitting at the table by us came over and put a sombrero on my head! (I was doing the macarena in my chair!)...

He asked if it was my birthday. I said "YES-I just turned 21 today!" He said "wow-you can drink now". I said "Yes! I've been waiting for this day for YEARS!" ha ha...it was hilarious!
Then, he put one on Monika:

On his way out, he said Happy Birthday to me! TOO FUNNY!

We had a great time and are already planning the next one! I told the ladies we should "take a trip around the world", so who knows where we'll end up next!
