MeHIMA Annual Meeting 2010 DAY 2

So, the alarm went off bright & early. We had decided at the last BOD meeting that we would hold one on Day 2 of the annual at 7:30 am. It sounded good at the time. Now, no so much. But, we had a job to do! First up was me getting my "President-Elect" official pin. Sorry for the goofy picture but give me a break-it was early and I had a bowling hangover!

We had a wonderful breakfast buffet. Then it was time for more horse races-thankfully I did not have to run this time! Carolyn did a great job(she was on my team!). GO JEN...

Then some prizes were awarded. I won my horse for enthusiasm!! YAY! Allan also won one-when he picked it up at the podium he said he was going to give it to me so both of my daughters would have a horse to play with. Thanks Allan! Then Rhonda announced to the association that I had "the most beautiful twin 3 year old daughters". Thanks Rhonda!
We had some educational sessions, met back at the Pavillion for lunch. Then, after one more session, it was time for one of my favorite speakers, Dr. Steve Sobel. Dr. Sobel is a motivational speaker. He is so funny and very inspiring! One of his trademarks is his clown nose. He recommends wearing a clown nose while driving down the road! SO FUN! I bought some clown noses to bring into work for my staff and I also got one of his CDs to listen to in the car for motivation. LOVE him. I asked him if I could have a picture taken with him. He said yes. He also told me to send a signed copy to him and he would put me on the "wall of fame" (whatever that means!).

And that was the end of Day 2. Back to reality!
All in all, it was a great conference. It's going to be a fun & eventful couple of years!
