This weekend, while we were cleaning the garage, Maya came to me and said "Mama-there is a purple driver in the shed!". At first, I wasn't sure what she was talking about but then realized it was the car. So, I pulled it out so the girls could play with it. It definitely needs some work, but I have already talked to a lady at daycare whose husband has a body shop! She said he would take a look at it. I can't wait to get it refinished (in the same color!) so my Nana can see her great granddaughters riding the car that my Grampa made for me!

Antique Auto!
When I was a little girl, my grandfather bought me a pedal car. He refinished it and painted it in "Plum Crazy"-purple was my favorite color. I LOVED that car and have many fond memories of riding it. My grandfather was an incredible man-everyone loved him. I was his first grandchild, so was definitely spoiled by him! Unfortunately, my grandfather passed away when I was 10 years old, but there is not a day that goes by that I don't think of him.
