My daily skincare/beauty routine

Recently, a friend asked me about my skincare/beauty routines. I thought it was a perfect idea for a post! This post will be long and full of products that I am currently using (just thought I'd warn you in advance if it's not your thing!).

My morning routine takes about a half hour to 45 minutes. It starts with a shower. I only cleanse my face at night, so in the morning it's just a splash of water to remove any moisturizers left from the night before. I wash & condition my hair every other morning with Pureology Hydrate shampoo & conditioner.

I use a bath sponge from Bath & Body Works. Theirs are the best-big & poufy!

I change up between different Bath & Body Works fragrances. My current favorite is the Dark Kiss scent.

Dark Kiss™ Bubble Bath - Signature Collection - Bath & Body Works
Once out of the shower, I put my contacts in. Then, I moisturize my face. I am currently loving Origins products. In the morning, I use the GinZing eye cream:

GinZing™ Refreshing eye cream to brighten and depuff
And the VitaZing moisturizer on my face:
VitaZing™ SPF 15 Energy-boosting moisturizer
I moisturize my body with Bath & Body Works moisturizer and then body mist:

Dark Kiss™ Body Lotion - Signature Collection - Bath & Body Works
Dark Kiss™ Fine Fragrance Mist - Signature Collection - Bath & Body Works
I comb my hair with a wide-tooth comb:
Wide Tooth Comb
and place a quarter-sized amount of Pureology Anti-Split Blowdry cream:

I then blow dry my hair and style (usually I flat iron and then curl just the ends). Once my hair is styled, I spray a fine mist of Pureology hairspray:

After getting dressed for the day, I apply make-up. I have a routine that takes approximately 5 minutes. I am constantly trying new products (thank you Birchox!). If I'm going out, I take more time. These are my go-to products for a quick "face":

Lately, I've been loving THIS Primer from Benefit. I don't wear a foundation with it-no need. It just evens out my complexion a bit. LOVE it!
The POREfessional

Since I have very light eyebrows, I use THIS eyebrow enhancer from Sephora:
Arch It Brow Kit

THIS blush by Tarte is what I've been using for a while now:

Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush

with a blush brush that I've had forever. I think it's by Joey New York?

For my eyes, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Urban Decay Naked Palettes (2 is HERE)! I have both of them and use them every single day. Lately, I've been using "Sin" on my lids:

Naked2
Naked Palette

I love the brush that is in Naked 2-I use that every day as well. Then, I line my waterline with the Urban Decay 24/7 liner in ZERO (black):

24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil

For mascara, I use the Urban Decay Supercurling. I have tried a bunch of kinds, but his is my favorite (for now!):
Supercurl Curling Mascara

Once make-up is applied, I put on any accessories I plan to wear that day.

At night, the first thing I do when I get home is change, put away all of the clothing & accessories I've worn that day (I find that if I put everything away immediately I won't let it pile up and get uncontrollable!). Then, I take out my contacts and cleanse & moisturize for the night. My one product that I absolutely cannot live without and use every single day is my Clarisonic Plus Skincare Brush! It's pricey, but my husband bought if for me for my birthday 2 or 3 years ago and I seriously have used it every single day since!
Skincare Brush

I have recently started using the Deep Pore Cleansing replacement heads and love them:

The Clarisonic deep cleans my face-I truly have noticed a difference since using it. My skin used to get very dry, but since using the Clarisonic it is not dry at all-no flakes around! In fact, I had a screening of my face at a wellness fair and the lady even mentioned how well-moisturized my skin is. I like foaming cleansers and have been using THIS frothy cleanser by Origins, which foams up really nicely and smells minty fresh:
Checks and Balances™ Frothy face wash

After cleansing with my Clarisonic, it's time to moisturize! I am currently using the Origins Plantscription products (serum & eye treatment) and really like them so far!
Plantscription™ Anti-aging serum with Anogeissus
Plantscription™ Anti-aging eye treatment
I exfoliate once a week with Origins Modern Friction:
Modern Friction™ Nature's gentle dermabrasion
I use a mask once a week as well (usually while the girls are in the bathtub). I like trying different ones. My recent favorite is the Origins Clear Improvement Charcoal Mask:
Clear Improvement® Active charcoal mask to clear pores

So, that is my skincare routine! As far as other "beauty/grooming" routines, I give myself a pedicure & manicure about once a week or every other week. I love Essie, OPI,  and Zoya polishes. I also love the Zoya polish remover:
Remove Plus Nail Polish Remover Lg
For a base coat, I have one by Essie that I like. For a topcoat, I use the Seche Vite dry fast topcoat. Love it! (both found at Ulta).

I'm lucky in the "unwanted hair" department , so I only have to shave once a week or so. I love the Aveeno shaving cream (I buy it at Target):
Aveeno Positively Smooth Shave Gel
And the disposable Gillette Venus razors (also at Target):
Gillette Venus Spa Breeze Disposable Razors

I go to the salon for a trim along with highlights/lowlights every 6-8 weeks. I have been going to my hairdresser since before my wedding-she does a fantastic job!

I love to have massages and have been having them more frequently this year. My husband has been great at scheduling them for me as a surprise :) LOVE that man! In fact, I have a 90 minute massage scheduled for tomorrow night and I cannot wait!

That's about all I can think of for skincare/beauty/grooming routines that I have. If you've made it to the end of this post, kudos to you! :)
