Friday night, I brought the girls to my parents and visited with them for a while. Then, I dropped in to visit with Stacy & Paul for a bit. After a very mild winter, we got hit with a snowstorm -at the end of February-ugh. I am so ready for spring! It was a complete whiteout on my drive home. I did manage to get home safely, though. Shelbie, however, was not so lucky. Sage called me on my my drive home and told me that she had gone off the road. Luckily, she was not injured. Her car, however, was not so lucky.
Saturday morning, I slept in until 8:00 and then drank coffee while catching up on my stack of fashion/beauty/gossip magazines. Pure bliss! Then I decided to go roam the aisles of Target. They have lots of new spring clothes! I got these pants, which are a pretty cobalt blue color:

I also got 2 of these cocoon sweaters, one in cobalt and one in coral:

I also got 2 v-neck layering tees-one in cobalt and one in coral (and a cobalt necklace):

I must have been in a "cobalt" mood because when I got home, I ordered these boots in the same color:

I wandered around TJ Maxx and am now kicking myself for not picking up a pair of Nine West nude peeptoe pumps that I carried around for a bit. Hopefully they will still be there later!
I stopped in at Ulta to pick up my rewards-I was a level 5 this quarter. There weren't many options I wanted, so went with this Blow Thickening Mist:

And keeping with the cobalt theme, I picked up this Essie Blue Aruba nail polish:

I went home and caught up on a few of my favorite shows:

In the evening, I went for my massage (which was heavenly), picked up Thai food, and came home to watch Sex & the City. I was up until after midnight, which is unheard of for me-especially since I was so relaxed! I did not sleep well at all-it was very windy and I just couldn't fall asleep for some reason. I got up at 7:00 this morning and had coffee and started laundry and made a frittata for breakfast and for this week's breakfasts (yay for preparing!), cleaned a bit and am now waiting for my daughters to get home-I miss my little sidekicks!
It was a great weekend!
