Weekend Recap!

How can it be Monday already?! I was on the road for 14 hours total this weekend, so that explains it! :)

Friday night, the girls had dance and then we headed to Rhode Island. We arrived around 10:00. Saturday morning, we were up bright & early to get on the road to go to Dantu & Gowri's house for their son, Neil's 2nd birthday party! We had a great time...fun with friends, yummy food, beautiful "Toy Story" themed decorations and Gowri's masterpiece:

Can you even believe she made this cake?! I told her she seriously needs to open a bakery-unbelievable! And the chocolate cake inside was amazing as well!

The weather was gorgeous, so all the kids were able to play outside. We left around 4:00 and drove back to Rhode Island for the night. Sunday morning, we got up and hit up Trader Joe's and Chipotle for lunch and then it was time to get back to Maine. What a whirlwind weekend! The start of daylight savings time took an hour away from us, but it's AWESOME to have some extra daylight! The girls played out on the deck when we got home (first time this spring!).
