Whole30-Day 6

Yesterday was Day 6! I hopped on the scale to see if I had a loss yet. The bloat & puffiness has subsided so much and my clothes are fitting better. I have lost 5.8 pounds already! Granted, I know that it's mostly fluid, but I don't care. I feel great and honestly that is more important to me than a number on the scale.

I started the day with a breakfast of 2 eggs, 1/2 a sliced green pepper, and black coffee. At 10:00, my friend Amy texted to ask if I wanted to go for a walk with her. I (reluctantly) agreed :) It was drizzling out, so it ended up being a wet walk. We walked for 90 minutes (and lots of hills).





I got home & showered, then had lunch: roasted chicken, broccoli, onions, kale, and 1/2 an avocado.

We watched the Patriots win (and I did 3 loads of laundry). For dinner, I had a little snack plate of shrimp, green olives, and a sliced apple with natural almond butter-hit the spot! I had another apple with almond butter later for a snack.

Bring on Day 7!
