Chicago Day Three!

Greetings from Chicago-day three! I had Leadership meetings today from 7:30-4:30 and then had an opportunity to go tour AHIMA! AHIMA (American Health Information Association) has 59,000 members! It really amazed me how down to earth & approachable all of the AHIMA leaders are! Sandra Fuller, Executive Vice President & COO walked over to the AHIMA office with us and showed us around. She is super nice and someone you would totally want to hang out with!

First up: drinks on them! Here is me with my "AHIMA" Diet Coke:

And Edie (President of MeHIMA) with her AHIMA water:
Here are some views from their building:

Trump Tower:

AHIMA!

Me with Sandra Fuller:
Edie with the AHIMA sign:

And the President & President-elect of MeHIMA!

It's not easy being President! Here is Edie resting after a hard day!
And here I am hard at work...AHIMA's newest employee (hee hee! this is Sandra's desk!) Notice how I'm working so hard!
While on our tour, we saw the CEO, Alan Dowling! I asked him if I could have my picture taken with him. His response? "Of course, but I'm not really sure why you want a picture with me". Seriously?! The CEO of a professional organization with more than 59,000 members?!

This tour totally made my day!
It was great to see a building & meet the people who work at the association that gave me my credentials!

After the tour, Edie, Anand & I went to dinner. We walked by the filming-here are pictures from today:
We saw cars racing down a street, cars on fire, cars smoking, and aerial photographers! Exciting stuff!
Then, we walked under the Chicago Theater...
And saw Tina Turner AGAIN!

She was singing the SAME EXACT SONG! "we don't need another Hero..."

Then we went to the Weber Grill Restaurant. It was GREAT!
There are red Weber grills hung on the building!

Tomorrow morning I have Leadership from 7:45-12:00. Let's see what adventures tomorrow brings!
