No Bake Peanut Butter Protein Bars!

I found this recipe on The Blonde Ponytail. You had me at peanut butter!

My surgery is tomorrow and I wanted a healthy treat in the house in case a craving hits-preparation is key! These bars are perfect-they have a fudge-like consistency and are delicious!




No-Bake Peanut Butter Protein Bars

Ingredients:

2 cups creamy natural peanut butter (I used Trader Joe's Valencia with sea salt)
1 1/4 cups organic honey
2 cups vanilla protein powder (I used Tera's Whey Vanilla Bourbon)
1 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup chia seeds

Directions:
In a large, microwave-safe bowl, combine peanut butter & honey. Microwave for 90 seconds, then stir. Add protein powder and mix completely. Add oats and stir until combined. Add chia seeds and combine. Place dough in a 9x13 baking dish and spread until even. Refrigerate, then cut into 24 squares.
