FANTASTIC Start to the Day!

This is my third consistent week of working out since my decision to take control of my health. I feel good, I'm eating well, and am losing weight. Life is good. And you know what? My eye surgery is in just a little over a month and I'm not stressed at all with that. Am I ready to have it behind me (and be able to wear make-up again)? Yes, absolutely. But, I'm not placing all the power in that. I'm taking control of my health and doing what I can do to feel good.

This morning was one of those mornings when I woke up and thought..."I would rather sleep in a little more today than go to the gym.". Excuses galore-it's humid, I'll sweat too much, and I have facilitation today so have to leave work early being just a few. Then, I came to my senses and decided I that I want to continue this routine I'm in. I want to feel good and to feel good, I need to get to the gym. If I've learned nothing else, I have learned that for me-exercise is crucial for my well-being.  After I dropped the girls off at daycare, I thought..."maybe I'll just do 20 minutes on the elliptical today" (I've been doing 30 minutes). I got to the gym, went to the elliptical and set it for 30 minutes. Then, something happened-I got into a rhythm and nothing could stop me. I was sweating like CRAZY and it just felt great. The 30 minutes flew by and I was feeling great.

So, the next morning I feel like I don't want to get out of bed, I really want to remember this feeling!
