Marvelous in My Monday!

Happy Marvelous Monday! 

Thanks to KATIE over at Healthy Diva Eats, we're going to get this party started. "Party?" you say, since it is the "dreaded Monday" and all. YES-it IS party time! It's going to be a great week! :)

First, let's back up to the weekend:

Friday afternoon, I was desperately ready for a relaxing weekend! I sent this text to my "Hubba Hubba Hubby":

His response? "whatever you want". That man sure knows how to make me happy. :)

No cooking, no cleaning, no mess to deal with?! Um, yeah-count me in! The girls decided they wanted to go to Margaritas. I ordered grilled chicken with black beans and a side salad. Yum. Then, this little lady started (and pretty much ended) the weekend with a sour face:

Someone was in a bad mood! 

Saturday morning, I went to my highly anticipated (and desperately needed) hair appointment! YES! My hairdresser may have even said at the end "I brought out your Emily" after we had talked all things Bachelorette. Girl knows how to get a good tip! :) 

When I got home, we decided to head to Trader Joe's for a grocery run. We went to Chipotle for lunch, where my little Suri still had the same look on her face:

We went home, unpacked and grilled scallops and made a salad for dinner. Sunday morning, I prepped food for the week, cleaned, and did laundry. Not so fun, but necessary. After all of my "Cinderella duties" were complete, I decided to make a run to Bath and Body Works to stock up since it was the last day of their "buy 3 get 3" sale (I also had some coupons). 

So, that was the weekend in recap. Onto this week, which is shaping up to be STELLAR-Wednesday in particular. I am an 80's girl. LOVE LOVE LOVE 80's music-especially HAIR BANDS. I listen to them every single day. My favorites? Poison, Def Leppard, Guns n Roses, Skid Row, Slaughter, Scorpions...oh, I love them all. Guess where I'm going Wednesday night?

To say I'm excited is definitely an understatement. I could not possibly be more excited!
