The theme for the August Birchbox was "Beauty School". Inside the box was a cute little pamphlet with "tools of the trade", information on how to read a label and some common ingredients in beauty products, five tips to a better shave, make-up quick fixes, and super speedy skincare. On the back of the card, the products in this month's box were described.
Beauty Fixation Tinted Lip Conditioner: Soothe chapped lips with these handy pre-filled swabs.
These swabs could not have come at a better time! I had a "crack" on my upper lip and my lips were super dry for some reason. I love that you just break off the tip, rub it on your lips, and throw it away. These would be awesome for travel. LOVE. I use the same type of product to remove my eye make-up and love them as well.
Caldrea Hand Soap: A delicious-smelling soap loaded with aloe vera and olive oil.
Another cute little travel item! :)
Juicy Couture Viva la Juicy La Fleur: This modern scent is a feminine blend of wild berries, mandarin and waterlily.
I wasn't sure I would like this since I'm not usually big on florals. However, this scent is great! I really like it and I'm guessing because of the wild berries & mandarin.
Osmotics Blue Copper 5 Firming Elasticity Repair: Take a proactive approach to anti-aging with this advanced copper-infused cream.
This looks promising! I love trying new moisturizers and I'm definitely all about anti-aging!
And last, but certainly not least:
Schick Hydro Silk Razor
This made my day since I needed a new one!

Disclaimer: I pay for Birchbox with my own money-this is not a paid review. I just happen to love trying new beauty products and enjoy receiving a little "gift" in the mail every month.
